Newcastle head coach John Carver kept faith with the men who handed him his first win by naming an unchanged side to face Stoke.

However, there was a seat on the bench for defender Paul Dummett on his return from a hamstring injury.

Stoke boss Mark Hughes made two changes to the side which beat QPR 3-1 last time out as Marc Muniesa and Mame Biram Diouf replaced the injured Ryan Shawcross and Marko Arnautovic.
