30-year-old Sissoko, who was signed from Newcastle United in 2016, has signed a contract extension until the end of the 2022/23 season.
His previous deal was set to expire upon the conclusion of the 2020/21 campaign.
“I’m very proud to sign a new deal with the club,” Sissoko told Tottenham’s website.
“It shows that they believe in me and are happy with what I am doing. Hopefully I can give my best to the club for a long time and hopefully we can win some trophies.”
Sissoko has made 132 appearances in all competitions for Tottenham, scoring twice.
