Paul Pogba breaks silence on Manchester United future after Mino Raiola interview

Pogba says he is ‘1,000 per cent involved’ and ‘will always fight’ for United

Paul Pogba has broken his silence on his situation at Manchester United, insisting that he is "1,000 per cent involved" and “will always fight" for the club.

Pogba's agent Mino Raiola said earlier this week that his client is unhappy at Old Trafford and had no plans to sign a new contract, with his deal set to expire at the end of next season.

Raiola revealed that he is hoping to facilitate a move for Pogba in the forthcoming January transfer window, with Juventus and Real Madrid both potential destinations.

Pogba returned to the United starting line-up for Saturday's goalless draw in the Manchester derby and took the social media after the final whistle to address his agent's comments.

"I’ve always fought and will always fight for Manchester United, my teammates and the fans," Pogba wrote on Instagram.

"Bla bla is not important. The future is far, today is what matters and I am 1000% involved!  

"Always strong together.. all has been clear between the club and myself and that will never change.

"When you don’t know what’s going on inside don’t talk."

United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was disappointed with Raiola's decision to go public about Pogba's future, insisting that the midfielder remains committed to United.

"I think I said during the week, of course, that this is a team game. Paul is part of this team, he's very focused on contributing when he's here," he said before City's visit.

"He's got a hunger, an appetite to play. He wants to play, he wants to train.  

"There have been other players that have refused to train or play, they're not here anymore of course, but Paul has not once done that. He's just focused on performing when he gets the chance."
