Manchester City took a major step towards the title race with a victory at Old Trafford.

Manchester United improved after their terrible defeat at Everton, but were still a long way short of City's level.

A tight and tense ended first half ended goalless, but that all changed in the second period.

Bernardo Silva fired in the opener and Leroy Sane added a second to seal all three points.

The result means Manchester City return to the top of the Premier League and the title race is in their hands.
