Marcos Rojo returns for Manchester United after dislocating his shoulder in their 1-0 defeat to Manchester City a month ago.
The Argentine lines up alongside Chris Smalling and Michael Carrick in central defence, as Paddy McNair and Tyler Blackett drop to the bench.
Juan Mata makes a rare start, while Ashley Young keeps his place after impressing as a substitute for the injured Luke Shaw against Arsenal last week.
Radamel Falcao and Ander Herrera both return to the bench after lengthy lay-offs.
Hull are missing Gaston Ramirez, who is serving a suspension after being sent off against Spurs, and is replaced by the French playmaker Hatem Ben Arfa.
