Jose Mourinho’s side followed a 2-1 derby defeat against Manchester City by going down 1-0 at Feyenoord and losing 3-1 on a trip to Watford.
After an initially positive start to their Premier League campaign which saw them win three in three, United now find themselves six points off Pep Guardiola’s early pace-setters.
Fellaini, who has become a regular starter under Mourinho, believes the current losing streak constitutes “a little crisis” but thinks that he and his team-mates will respond.
“We can say it's a little crisis because a club like Manchester United cannot lose three games,” he told SFR Sport, the French television channel.
'Yes it's low, but we are men and we must stand up together and show ourselves. To lose was a tough moment, but we must be ready to go again on Wednesday.”
United travel to face Northampton Town in a League Cup third round tie at Sixfields on Wednesday.
“We need to focus,” Fellaini added. “At the moment heads are down but, as I said, we must stand together and fight and show that we are confident.”
The Belgium international also called on his team-mates to heed Mourinho’s advice and play well from kick-off.
United have conceded the first goal in each of their three recent defeats and have not scored a goal before half-time since last month’s 2-0 league victory over Southampton.
“At half-time [at Watford], the manager told us to come out and play with confidence and we did that by grabbing the goal.
“We played with tempo and we need to start doing that from the first minute.”
