The United starlet, who burst onto the scene last season for club and country, has been substituted by Jose Mourinho around the 80-minute mark in three of his last four games.
Rashford, who turned 19 on Monday, will fly out today for United’s Europa League clash against Fenerbahce tomorrow.
He has played much of the season in wide position and the Sun report United are worried ‘growing pains’ are now taking their toll on the teenager, who cramps up unless he is substituted.
Rashford was replaced by Memphis Depay after 82 minutes of the 0-0 draw against Burnley on Saturday. He was taken off after 81 minutes of United’s 2-1 win over Manchester City in the EFL Cup, and after 77 minutes of the goalless draw with Liverpool.
Rashford has scored four times for United this season but the last of those goals came against Leicester City on September 24. He hit nine goals in 21 appearances for United and England last season.
