Manchester United's new shirt sponsors Chevrolet have released a new teaser video for the upcoming launch of the club's new home and away kits.

The video, titled 'The History of the Manchester United Shirt' features fans from the 19th century to the present day singing 'Glory, Glory, Man United' as they take off one shirt to reveal another.

The video includes cameos from Bobby Charlton and Dennis Law, while Wayne Rooney, David de Gea, Juan Mata and Ryan Giggs all feature at the end.

Rooney, speaking to the camera, says: "This shirt belongs to you, always has, always will".

As he takes off last season's shirt to reveal the new one the video cuts out.

However, images released online show what is potentially Manchester United's shirt for next season.

An image of a red home and white away kit with the Chevrolet logo emblazoned on the middle went viral on Twitter.

It is set to be a season of change at United, with new boss Louis van Gaal joining new players Ander Herrera and Luke Shaw after the World Cup and more players expected to join.
