Manchester United injury news: Phil Jones and Marouane Fellaini to return but Wayne Rooney remains out
United have no fewer than 11 injury concerns on their hands ahead of this weekend's trip to the Hawthorns

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal will hope to have defender Phil Jones back for this weekend’s Premier League trip to West Bromwich Albion on Sunday after he missed their last three games with a shoulder injury.
Van Gaal will deliver an update on his squad’s fitness later today, where he will confirm if Jones came through training after missing the 1-0 victory over Watford on Wednesday night.
His return would help ease the extensive injury concerns Van Gaal currently has on his hands, with United having more injured first team players than any other Premier League side.
Marouane Fellaini could also return to the matchday squad having missed the last month with a hamstring injury, and there could be a surprise return for Antonio Valencia as the Ecuador international closes in on a return from a long-term ankle injury, having last played against Manchester City in late October.
While the trio could return to the side, United will still be without a number of key players, including their captain Wayne Rooney and midfielder Bastian Schweinstieger.

United are currently level on points with fourth-placed Manchester City who have a game in hand, but Van Gaal’s side can take advantage of any slip-up when their fierce rivals face Aston Villa on Saturday.
