Manchester United are set to be without Matteo Darmian and Chris Smalling for Saturday's game at Bournemouth, after the pair picked up injuries in the 3-2 Champions League defeat by Wolfsburg on Tuesday night.
Although Morgan Schneiderlin could return from his hip injury.
"Matteo Darmian has a hamstring injury and Smalling probably a groin injury," United manager Louis van Gaal confirmed after the game. "Smalling could not jump at the moment of the set plays and that goal [Wolfsburg's third] was also because of that. He had to give it [defensive responsibility] to another player and that's always a question of communication and quality."
Darmian and Smalling join a lengthy injury list of seven other players that includes captain Wayne Rooney.

Bastian Schweinsteiger is suspended for the next three matches, serving his ban for violent conduct following a clash with West Ham United's Winston Reid in the Premier League last Saturday.
The German accepted the FA charge, relating to the incident where he appeared to floor Reid with his arm after the pair were jostling for space.
