The teenage striker scored two first-half goals in the space of three minutes, as well as assisting Ander Herrera’s decisive strike, to grant Louis van Gaal’s side a 3-2 win.
Rashford made his full senior debut and scored twice on Thursday against Midtjylland in the Europa League, having come into the starting XI when Anthony Martial was injured in the warm-up.
"This is my first game in the Premier League, so obviously it's been amazing and to score two is just a bonus," he told Sky Sports. "Hopefully we can just carry it on and we go again next game."
When asked by reporter Geoff Shreeves whether he had scored with his first shot on goal, Rashford replied: "Yeah, same as Europa."
"It was a shock playing midweek because Martial was meant to be starting and then coming in but that kind of benefited me because I wasn't thinking about the game too much. It's been good."
"It's just crazy but having the likes of Michael around in the team as well helps, with their experience, so we can only go forward. It's crazy, you can't really explain it when you're out there. It's just a rush of blood, everything."
Arsenal responded to Rashford’s heroics, first through Danny Welbeck before Mesut Ozil’s striker set up a tense finish.
Arsene Wenger’s men could not, however, draw level and now sit three points behind second-placed Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League table, ahead of a trip to White Hart Lane next Saturday.
