Manchester City cannot afford less than three points on Saturday in their game against Swansea if they want to keep their hopes up of securing a consecutive title. The Citizens will be eager to make up for their previous results as they have only been able to secure one win in their last four games.

The gap between City and Chelsea is nine points with Southampton in the middle holding second position. The club of Dutch manager Ronald Koeman has so far been doing extremely well and is not showing any sign of loss of concentration.

Pellegrini’s squad have taken a hit after drawing 2-2 against QPR and a devastating loss against CSKA Moscow in their Champions league campaign where they are now facing bottom of the table.

Swansea, who had a memorable win over Arsenal in their last fixture, recently announced the extension of striker Wilfried Bony’s contract by one year.

The club has been looking solid so far winning two of their previous three Premier League performances and will be looking to add a consecutive win to that on Saturday.
