Paul Pogba has not been included in Manchester United’s side to play Manchester City after suffering a ‘little injury’ during training.

The United midfielder, who scored twice in last season’s derby at the Etihad, missed first-team training on Friday and has not travelled with the squad.

Romelu Lukaku has not played since picking up an injury against Everton a fortnight ago, but is fit to make the bench.

Alexis Sanchez, who is reportedly considering leaving United, is named on the bench despite a good run of form in the side.

United are nine points behind City in the Premier League and risk being cut further adrift from the top four if they lose. However, Jose Mourinho's side arrive at The Etihad full of confidence after a morale boosting comeback win against Juventus in the Champions League on Wednesday.
