Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri has named an unchanged line-up from the side which beat Liverpool in midweek as the Foxes look to go six points clear.

Jamie Vardy starts after scoring a wicked 33-yard half-volley on his way to a brace at the King Power Stadium on Tuesday night while usual suspects Riyad Mahrez and N’Golo Kante also make the cut.

Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini, meanwhile, calls on January player of the month Sergio Aguero to provide the goals to halt Leicester’s title challenge.

The hosts know they can go level on points with the flying Foxes with a victory.

Pellegrini also puts his faith in Raheem Sterling and David Silva to unpick the lock of their visitors’ defence while Nicolas Otamendi and Martin Demichelis are preferred at the back.

The Foxes picked up a 0-0 draw the last time these two sides met in December in the East Midlands but have since witnessed their title odds shorten even further following victories over Tottenham and Liverpool.

Today's line-ups...

Manchester City: Hart, Zabaleta, Otamendi, Demichelis, Kolarov, Toure, Fernandinho, Silva, Delph, Sterling, Aguero.

Subs: Caballero, Clichy, Sagna, A.Garcia, Fernando, Celina, Iheanacho.

Leicester City: Schmeichel, Simpson, Morgan, Huth, Fuchs, Mahrez, Kanté, Drinkwater, Albrighton, Okazaki, Vardy.

Subs: Schwarzer, King, Gray, Ulloa, Dyer, Wasilewski, Chilwell.
