City have already lost four league matches this season, two more than they did last year in their record-breaking season

Aguero’s 10th Premier League hat-trick helped the defending champions avoid falling further behind Liverpool after their shock defeat against Newcastle.
Only Alan Shearer has scored more hat-tricks in the Premier League, and Aguero’s latest scoring feat has propelled him into the conversation about the greatest striker the league has seen.
Having scored 28 seconds into the defeat at St James’ Park, Aguero waited a whole 48 seconds before opening the scoring against Arsenal on Sunday. He restored City’s lead after Laurent Koscielny briefly put Unai Emery’s side back on level terms, then completed his 14th hat-trick for City with a third close-range finish in the second half.
In an all-star team, Silva singled the Argentine forward as one of the best he has ever played with. “It’s a pleasure to have him with us, scoring another three goals. Fantastic performance.
The Portuguese winger even went as far to suggest his City teammate in the same category as five-time Ballon d’Or winner Ronaldo.
“I have played with Cristiano in the national team so it wouldn’t be fair to say yes,” said Silva when asked if Aguero is the best he has played with. “I think Sergio is just a fantastic player and we are so happy to have him with us.
“It is a privilege to have a player like Kun in our team who scores in the big games like he showed today, so I just hope he can keep going this way and help us win more games and titles.”
In City’s last 10 matches they have been free-scoring and playing some typically mesmerising football, but in that time they have lost three matches, one more than they did in the entire of the title-winning campaign last season.
Silva believes defeat in either of their next two games, home matches against Everton then Chelsea, could spell the end of their title challenge. “Now we have two very difficult games against Everton and Chelsea which we want to win. If we don’t, it will start getting very difficult to fight for this Premier League.
“We know we have to improve even though we have some fantastic performances, sometimes we don’t play as well as we want to. We have to improve that, to see which mistakes we are making, with the help of the staff, and improve all of the team.
“The atmosphere in the dressing room is fantastic, everybody is trying to help each other to improve and to try and help the mate next to you so we just want to be the better players game by game, to try and be a better team to try and win some titles at the end of the season.”
