City played two matches Scotland, losing 2-0 to Dundee before beating Hearts 2-1, to kick off their pre-season.
From there, like Manchester United, Manuel Pellegrini has taken his squad State-side.
They will compete in the Guinness International Champions Cup with the most intriguing game being against the runners-up from the Premier League last season, Liverpool.
City's trip will see them complete 10,181 miles.
City get the defence of their title underway against Newcastle on the opening weekend.
