Martial scored twice for United in their 4-1 win over West Ham United in the EFL Cup at Old Trafford on Wednesday evening, only his third and fourth goals of the season.
The Frenchman has struggled in his second campaign after joining United from Monaco in 2015. Earlier this season he was dropped to the bench by United manager Jose Mourinho and warned that he must take his first-team chances if he is to hold down his place.
That has led to speculation Martial could leave Old Trafford, with The Sun reporting on Thursday that PSG want to bring him back to Ligue 1.
The Sun quotes a source as saying: “It is well known PSG are very keen if the club does consider selling. He has been dropped recently against Feyenoord and has generally struggled for form.”
Martial cost United £36m when he joined from Monaco last year, and scored 17 goals in his first season.
