Luke Shaw: Why are there plans for a minute's applause in the 23rd minute of Southampton vs Manchester United?
Show of support for crocked left-back expected

By a weird twist of fate, in the week that Luke Shaw broke his leg, his former and current team meet in the Premier League.
Southampton, where Shaw started his career, host Manchester United in today's 4pm kick off.
The fixture is being seen as a great opportunity for supporters of both sides to show their support, with a minute's applause suggested in the 23rd minute.
Despite some Manchester United fans not being keen on the idea, it seems likely that the minute that coincides with Shaw's jersey number will see some sort of recognition for the England international.
Shaw, who underwent a second round of surgery on the double leg break suffered in Manchester United's Champions League tie with PSV Eindhoven, has indicated he will be watching today's game at St Mary's.
He tweeted: "Looking forward to watching super Sunday today! Wish I was out there though! Come on lads @ManUtd".
