It’s a big game for…

Christian Benteke: Liverpool have only scored eight goals in the ten games that the Belgian has started this season, compared to the 24 in the 12 that he hasn’t. Jürgen Klopp will be hoping that this stat will change as he needs Benteke to find form after Daniel Sturridge is sidelined yet again with another injury.

Best stat…

8: Liverpool have only scored eight goals at home in the league so far this season, only Stoke, Watford and Aston Villa have scored less. West Brom have only conceded five goals away from home this season, fewer than any other side.

Remember when…

Two late goals from Gareth McAuley and Romelu Lukaku secured a 2-0 win for the Baggies after Steven Gerrard had missed an earlier penalty. The result lifted Steve Clarke’s West Brom side above Liverpool into eighth place in the table.

Player to watch…

Philippe Coutinho: Coutinho made his return at Sion on Thursday night after recovering from a hamstring injury. The Brazilian has scored four goals in his last three Premier League games and will be hoping to retain that form against West Brom.
