Liverpool vs Burnley player ratings: Nick Pope and Andrew Robertson stand out at Anfield
The two sides were forced to share the points at Anfield
Premier League champions Liverpool were pegged back and forced to accept a share of the points against Burnley on Saturday afternoon.
The Reds controlled much of the ball and much of the game and took a deserved first-half lead when Andrew Robertson superbly headed in Fabinho’s excellent ball into the box.
They looked close to a second with Roberto Firmino going closest to beating the superb Nick Pope when he hit the post just after half-time.
Burnley grew into the game, howeverm and Jay Rodrigiez took the opportunity that presented itself, slamming in on the turn from inside box to seal a share of the spoils.

Rarely tested in the home goal until late on and could do nothing about Rodriguez’s goal
