Liverpool have unveiled their new away kit for the 2014/15 season.

Next season will see Steven Gerrard (and perhaps Luis Suarez if he's not playing in the white of Real Madrid) in a yellow strip with red trim.

The goalkeeper kit is black.

The strip appears in homage to the yellow kit worn between 1982 and 1984. Brendan Rodgers will be hoping it can inspire them to similar success - during those years they won three titles in a row.

Made by Warrior, the kit features two embroidered Eternal Flames alongside a 96 logo which appears on the nape of the shirt's neck to commemorate those who lost their lives in the Hillsborough disaster.

Liverpool player Lucas Leiva commented: "I love the look of this kit, for me the stand out Liverpool away kits were always the yellow ones." Perhaps Leiva's love for the yellow kit stems from his Brazilian roots.
