At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

Milner was left out of Sunday's victory over Manchester United as a precaution due to a minor hamstring issue, but trained with the rest of the squad this week.
Trent Alexander-Arnold (foot) is not expected to be fit again until Boxing Day, so Nathaniel Clyne looks set to deputise once again at right-back.
Dejan Lovren will continue to partner Virgil van Dijk at the heart of Liverpool’s defence, with Joe Gomez and Joel Matip not expected to return until mid-January at the earliest with a fractured ankle and broken collarbone respectively.
Liverpool lead champions Manchester City by a single point at the top of the Premier League after 17 matches, and therefore know that anything less than a win at Molineux on Friday will likely see them lose their place at the summit.
Klopp’s side are yet to taste defeat in the Premier League this season, and Lovren insists they will embrace the challenge of attempting to match the achievement of Arsene Wenger’s legendary Arsenal ‘Invincibles’ by going unbeaten for the entire campaign.
“Hopefully we can be unbeaten until the end of the season,” the Croatia international said. “That is why we came to Liverpool. Arsenal did it before so why not?”
Simply finishing the season in top spot would constitute history for Liverpool, who have not been league champions since 1990, but Lovren is adamant that they have the belief to triumph where previous Reds teams have fallen short.
“Of course it will be a challenge but this is what we want,” Lovren added. “We know we can do it.”
Provisional squad: Alisson, Clyne, Lovren, Van Dijk, Robertson, Henderson, Wijnaldum, Milner, Salah, Firmino, Mane, Mignolet, Moreno, Keita, Lallana, Shaqiri, Sturridge, Solanke, Camacho.
