Liverpool injury news: Philippe Coutinho and Emre Can return but Daniel Sturridge out until New Year

Your support makes all the difference.Jürgen Klopp will have Philippe Coutinho available for Sunday’s Premier League clash against West Bromwich Albion at Anfield, but he will be without Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge for what could be the rest of the year.
Sturridge picked up a hamstring injury in last weekend’s Premier League defeat by Newcastle, with the shock 2-0 result seeing Liverpool’s title aspirations come crashing back to earth. Sturridge went on to miss the Europa League trip to FC Sion – which ended in a drab 0-0 – and he could now miss the rest of 2015 through injury.
Klopp can at least look forward to calling on midfielder Coutinho again, having brought the Brazil international off the bench in Switzerland, while Emra Can is available again after suspension having missed the trip to St James’ Park.
Speaking after the draw with Sion that sent Liverpool through to the Europa League last-16 as group winners, Klopp was evidently pleased to have Coutinho back and ready to play.
"We want to respond after the Newcastle game and we've got a very important fixture now on Sunday against West Bromwich Albion," he added.
"We will recover as well as we can and make sure we are ready for Sunday because it's always important to respond after a bad result and we've got the opportunity to do that at home at Anfield."

Along with Sturridge, defender Mamadou Sakho remains sidelined as he is expected to be out with a knee injury until Christmas, while Danny Ings, Joe Gomez and Jon Flanagan remain on the long-term injury list.
The only other doubt is winger Jordon Ibe, who is struggling with illness.
