Kezman bemoans lack of chances in parting shot
"I'm happy to have come to a club that was once bigger than Chelsea and that will be bigger than them again in the future," Kezman said. "It's a pity for Chelsea that I didn't get the chance to play and that's why I decided to move."
The 26-year-old striker had a disappointing season at Stamford Bridge after signing for £5m from PSV Eindhoven, scoring four goals in 24 League appearances, mostly as a substitute, as Chelsea won the Premiership title.
The former Chelsea favourite Gianfranco Zola announced his retirement yesterday, bringing to an end a 21-year career that graced the Premiership and Serie A. "I think this is the right thing to do," the 38-year-old said. "Some time has passed since the end of the [Serie A] championship but I needed to reflect a bit.
"Now my career is finished I can say I am happy with what I have achieved."
Zola, who ended his career with Cagliari, also played for Napoli, Parma and Chelsea, spending seven successful years at Stamford Bridge.
