Jose Mourinho has been banned from driving after being caught speeding in a 50mph zone.

The Chelsea manager, 52, already had nine points on his licence when he was captured on a speed camera going 60mph on the A3 Esher bypass in September 2014.

Mourinho entered a guilty plea via means form prior to the hearing and did not appear at Staines Magistrates' Court.

The Portuguese did not wish to declare his income, although the court said it would take his "significant income" into account; he was ordered to pay a £750 fine, a £75 surcharge and £85 court costs.
