Hull City take on West Brom with the sides occupying the two positions directly above the relegation zone.

Steve Bruce is able to name Abel Hernandez in his starting line-up after the striker returned from paternity leave. He replaces Nikica Jelavic who drops to the bench.

The only other change from the side that drew 1-1 with Everton in midweek is Sone Aluko coming in to the starting line-up in place of Mohamed Diame who has a knee injury. Aluko will be looking to add to the goal he scored at Goodison Park.

Alan Irvine makes four changes to his West Brom team that lost to West Ham on Tuesday night. Central defensive pairing Gareth McAuley and Sebastien Pocognoli replace Craig Dawson and Chris Baird.

Captain Chris Brunt has a hamstring injury and is replaced by Youssouf Mulumbu. James Morrison also comes into the side with striker Saido Berahinho having to make do with a place on the bench.

Hull City: McGregor, Dawson, Chester, Rosenior, Elmohamady, Livermore, Huddlestone, Meyler, Quinn, Aluko, Hernandez

Subs: Jakupović, Bruce, Davies, Brady, Jelavić, Sagbo, Robertson

West Brom: Foster, Wisdom, McAuley, Lescott, Pocognoli, Dorrans, Morrison, Mulumbu, Gardner, Sessegnon, Anichebe
