How was the season for you?: Fulham
Your support helps us to tell the story
From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

But how was it for you? Comment at the bottom of this article and have your say on your team's season.
Who has been your best player this season?
Simon Davies has been the best of a not-that-impressive bunch.
Who would you be glad to see the back of?
Chris Baird. Probably be glad to leave given the abuse he has taken.
What was your best performance?
Hard to think of a good 90 minutes: perhaps Aston Villa at home, when it first looked like we might stay up.
And the worst?
Derby at home, 0-0. The footballing equivalent of two bald men fighting over a comb.
Who have been your toughest opponents?
Probably Arsenal or Manchester United, both of whom barely broke a sweat at Craven Cottage.
Best player faced?
Emmanuel Adebayor. Good AND tall.
Funniest/most bizarre moment of the season?
Fancy-dressed Birmingham fans starting on kids after we beat them. That was hilarious.
Your perfect, but realistic signing?
We need a bit of bite in midfield – a Claude Makelele type. Maybe Chelsea want shot of him.
Any reasons to be cheerful going into next season?
Things have looked a lot better since Roy Hodgson took over. We might not be so anonymous next season.
Reasons to be gloomy?
Chelsea may win the European Cup.
Who will you support in Euro 2008?
France.
Overall assessment of your manager?
Excellent. He believes in passing football and has brought the best out of a fairly limited group.
And overall assessment of your team?
They’ve been a lot better since January but too many went through the motions before then. There appears to be a formidable team spirit that bodes well for the future.
