At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The forward’s £100,000-a-week salary has been doubled in an unprecedented move that breaks Tottenham’s balanced wage structure.
Kane only signed his previous deal in 2016, which ran until 2022, but faced with rising interest in the player from Europe chairman Daniel Levy has moved to tie down the England captain.
"I'm looking forward to the future," Kane told Tottenham's website.
"It's been fantastic to consistently get in the Champions League so I'm really excited to have another go at that, and with the Premier League and FA Cup, we'll look to go as far as we can.
"I'm really excited about the World Cup, so it's nice to get this done before that and I'm just looking to go out there and enjoy it now."
Kane scored 30 goals in the recently completed Premier League season, when Spurs finished third, and has passed 20 goals in each of the last four seasons.
Focus at the club will now turn to securing similar deals for Kane’s prominent teammates within the squad.
This follows Pochettino's decision to sign a new five-year at the club, along with his backroom staff. The Argentine later refused to rule out leaving Tottenham for the vacant Real Madrid job following Zinedine Zidane's unexpected resignation.
Speculation over a switch to the Bernabeu has since cooled, though, with the 49-year-old committed to pushing on in Tottenham's development as the club prepares to move into their new stadium.
