Manchester City will look to go a massive 17 points clear at the top of the Premier League table on Saturday night. With neither Leicester nor Man United in action until Sunday, Pep Guardiola’s side can further widen the gap between themselves and the rest if they beat Fulham.
It won’t be the easiest of tasks for the league leaders, with the Cottagers having improved dramatically of late, particularly in defence where they have kept four clean sheets in their last six games. That said, City are the highest scorers in the top flight this season and put five past Southampton in midweek.
Fulham have every right to be confident in their own approach, though, with a 1-0 win over Liverpool last week leaving them level on points with Brighton heading into this weekend. As the Seagulls are another side not in action until Sunday, Fulham know any kind of positive result will be enough to take them temporarily out of the bottom three.
With 10 games to go for Parker’s side, every result is vital, though this will be the biggest test of their survival credentials yet.

Prediction
The home side have done well to claw back ground on the teams outside the drop zone and this match won’t define whether they survive or not. City to win, but Fulham to ensure the goal difference doesn’t take too much damage. Fulham 0-2 Man City.
