From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

Fulham and Leicester will both be hoping to get back to winning ways on Wednesday night, albeit for very different reasons at opposite ends of the table. Neither team come into the match in good form, but incentives are there for both to go for the three points.

Scott Parker’s side have been improved in recent weeks, taking four draws from their last six games including a back-and-forth 2-2 encounter with fellow bottom-three side West Brom last time out. Wins are badly needed though and Fulham are seven points from safety in 18th position, albeit with a game in hand on Brighton and Newcastle, who sit outside the relegation zone.

As for Leicester, they briefly led the Premier League table only a week or two back, but since then they have failed to win back-to-back games.

A defeat to Leeds United at the weekend underlined that improvements can still be made, despite an excellent campaign overall so far, and Brendan Rodgers will be desperate to ensure they don’t suffer a terrible drop-off in results like last year, which ultimately cost the Foxes a spot in the Champions League. They are still fourth, but must keep winning to stay there.
