Manchester City's visit of Fulham kicks off the return of the Premier League after the latest international break.

Pep Guardiola’s side will be looking to overtake first-place Liverpool once again as they currently sit two points behind the Reds but with a game in hand after their involvement in the FA Cup quarter-finals during the last round of league fixtures.

City, who will be hoping for a 12th straight win in all competitions, will be confident of retaking the lead in the title race, with Liverpool, who take on Spurs at Anfield this weekend, not in action until Sunday.

Fulham meanwhile sit second from bottom and are staring relegation in the face after collecting just 17 points from 31 games, with their winless run in all competitions stretching as far back as January.

That form, which includes seven straight defeats and just four goals scored, has left Scott Parker's side s 13 points off Sean Dyche's Burnley in 17th.

Odds…

Fulham to win: 22/1

Manchester City to win: 2/15

Draw: 19/2

Prediction…

Fulham 0-3 Manchester City

Recent results and the league table in general suggest City will win this at a canter.

Guardiola has had a number of his stars performing at their best in recent weeks, and that was before the return of Kevin de Bruyne, Vincent Kompany, Fernandinho and John Stones to training this week.

Meanwhile, Fulham are in dire straits, and their inability to muster a draw from either the Chelsea or Liverpool game has allowed fellow strugglers to take advantage and has seen the gap between the London club and safety grow.

If the likes of Raheem Sterling and Leroy Sane maintain their goalscoring form with England and Germany recently in this game, this will be a comfortable victory for City.
