Lack of VAR at Swansea surprises Pep Guardiola after controversial Man City comeback

Manchester City will look to go back to the top of the Premier League table when they travel to heavy relegation favourites Fulham.

Pep Guardiola’s men trail Liverpool by two points, but a win for the champions in Saturday’s early kick-off would see them move back into pole position in the title race ahead of Jurgen Klopp’s side.

Fulham meanwhile lie 13 points adrift of safety after their return to the top flight this season, with Scott Parker’s side having collected a mere 17 points from 31 games.

The hosts have already faced two of the top six sides already this month, and despite spirited displays in parts against both Chelsea and Liverpool, the Cottagers went down 2-1 on both occasions.

But Parker will hope that they can produce a more consistent dogged display and possibly take advantage of potentially weary City players returning from international duty to start an unlikely escape from the drop.

What time does it start?

Fulham vs Manchester City kicks off at 12:30pm (GMT).

Prediction…

Fulham 0-3 Manchester City

Man City could have four players returning from injury on Saturday, with John Stones, Kevin de Bruyne, Vincent Kompany and Benjamin Mendy all partaking in light training this week.

With no significant injuries suffered on international duty, numbers are coming back into Guardiola’s squad at the right time and they will prove to be too strong for Fulham here.
