Newcastle United manager Steve McClaren has handed Andros with his debut for the trip to Everton among a new-look Magpies starting line-up.

The North East outfit have invested heavily in January to attempt to stave off the threat of relegation but new loan signing from Roma Seydou Doumbia must wait for his chance from the bench.

Jonjo Shelvey, who impressed greatly on his first Toon appearance during the victory against West Ham last month, joins Senegal international midfielder Henri Saivet in the middle of midfield.

Roberto Martinez is without new striker Oumar Niasse and reliable centre-back John Stones for the visit of McClaren’s strugglers can call upon the talents of Romelu Lukaku and Ross Barkley nonetheless.

Joel Robles continues in goal for the Toffees after playing the FA Cup and Capital One Cup matches against Carlisle United and Manchester City respectively.

Tonight’s line-ups…

Everton: Joel, Oviedo, Funes Mori, Jagielka, Coleman, McCarthy, Barry, Cleverley, Lennon, Barkley, Lukaku.

Subs: Stanek, Baines, Gibson, Kone, Deulofeu, Osman, Pienaar.

Newcastle United: Elliot; Janmaat, Mbemba, Coloccini, Dummett; Sissoko, Saivet, Shelvey, Townsend; Perez.
