Brendan Rodgers handed teenager Jordon Ibe a shock start in the Merseyside derby.

The 19-year-old, who had impressed on loan at Derby this season, will likely start as a wing-back with Rodgers expected to continue with his 3-4-1-1 formation - Daniel Sturridge is not yet trusted to start on his return to injury.

The rest of the side is as expected.

Roberto Martinez is without Leighton Baines, who doesn't even make the substitutes bench, Bryan Oviedo will start at left-back, and James McCarthy also returns.

New signing Aaron Lennon is on the bench.

LINE-UPS:

Everton: Robles, Oviedo, Jagielka, Stones, Coleman, Besic, Barry, McCarthy, Mirallas, Naismith, Lukaku.

Subs: Griffiths, Gibson, Kone, Barkley, Lennon, Browning, Alcaraz.

Liverpool: Mignolet, Moreno, Sakho, Skrtel, Can, Gerrard, Henderson, Leiva, Ibe, Coutinho, Sterling.

Subs: Ward, Johnson, Lovren, Lambert, Sturridge, Allen, Markovic.
