It’s a big game for…

Ronald Koeman. Everton are on a terrible run of form with only one win since September and questions are beginning to be asked about Koeman’s capability as manager of the Toffees. He will point the finger at a lack of new signings in the summer but his team just aren’t good enough at the moment.

Best stat…

Koeman had an excellent record against Arsenal, with a record of three wins, a draw and a defeat from the five times he faced them as Southampton boss. However, Everton are less successful, winning only one of the last 19 games between the two.

Remember when...

Wayne Rooney announced himself on the Premier League scene with a stunning 90th-minute winner to give Everton one for their most thrilling wins over the Gunners.

Player to watch…

Alexis Sanchez. Who else? The Chilean is in red-hot form at the moment and scored one of the most skilful hat-tricks in Premier League history against West Ham two weeks ago. If Everton manage to keep him quite then that will be half the job done already.
