It’s a big game for…

Romelu Lukaku. The Belgian forward has been missing in recent weeks and hasn’t found the back of the net for the Toffees since late October. With Lukaku struggling, so too are Everton. Indeed, the side have managed just one win from their last eight Premier League games. Lukaku will need to be firing on all cylinders if they’re to stand any chance of keeping today’s visitors at bay. Having said that, Lukaku’s record against United doesn’t make for positive reading. The Belgian has currently played six league games against the Manchester club without scoring. Time to step up.

Remember when…

Everton fired three past United in April 2015? Goals from James McCarthy, John Stones and Kevin Mirallas helped the Toffees complete a run of three consecutive home league wins against United for the first time since Boxing Day in 1985.

Player to watch…

Henrikh Mkhitaryan. The Armenian has finally started to find his feet at Old Trafford, impressing most recently against West Ham in the EFL Cup in which he provided two assists. “We know the reason we bought him and waited for his evolution, I’m happy,” Jose Mourinho said afterwards. Should he retain his recent form, Mkhitaryan could prove to be one of United’s most dangerous assets today at Goodison Park.
