Everton will hope to rebound from a disappointing 2014/15 campaign after the fixtures for the 2015/16 Premier League season were announced, with last year's 11th-place finish still fresh in the memory.

Despite splashing the cash and spending £28m on former Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku, the Toffees got off to a dreadful start that left them chasing the season. Injuries took their toll on Martinez's squad, but the Spaniard suddenly found himself under pressure to deliver for club owner Bill Kenwright, and he'll hope for a much stronger start this season.

Here are some of the highlights from Everton's fixture list to look out for:

First game

8 August: Watford (H)

Last game

15 May: Norwich (H)

Games against biggest rivals

Liverpool: 3 October (H), 27 February (A)
