Last year’s edition of the game saw Eden Hazard as the league’s highest-rated player after the Belgian was named PFA Player of the Year as Chelsea marched to the League title in 2014/15.
Other players rated in the top ten by EA SPORTS that year were Manchester City pair David Silva and Sergio Aguero and Arsenal duo Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez.
Four of the top ten were players belonging to then-champions Chelsea, which makes it surprising that none of the players that led Leicester to Premier League glory even make the top 20.
That means that PFA Player of the Year Riyad Mahrez and Football Writers’ Player of the Year Jamie Vardy both miss out, while half the players featured on the list belong to teams who failed to make the top four last season.
Take a look at the top 20 Premier League players featured on FIFA 17 in the gallery above.
