The striker scored a dramatic injury-time header against the Premier League leaders on Sunday having only come on a substitute shortly before.
The goal both marked Welbeck's first appearance since last April and pulled Arsenal well and truly back into the title reckoning by cutting the gap to the top to just two points.
Welbeck's team-mates were obviously delighted and during a Twitter Q&A session the striker revealed how they showed it.
"Everyone was pleased for me and they sang a song when I came into the changing room!" said the former Manchester United player.
Asked where the goal ranked among his career highlights, Welbeck said: "It's up there. To score after being out for so long was a great moment."
However, whilst it was a "great feeling" to score the goal, "what was most important was the three points", according to Welbeck.
During the #AskWelbz session, he also revealed that his favourite players growing up were Arsenal legend Thierry Henry, Manchester United's Ryan Giggs and Brazilian superstar Ronaldinho.
