His future has been the source of much speculation, but it seems Danny Ings may have already made up his mind about his next club.

The Burnley striker, who is out of contract at the end of the season and has attracted significant interest from Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur, flew into San Sebastian this week to meet David Moyes, the Real Sociedad manager.

Moyes' interest in Ings first became apparent in January, though the former Manchester United manager refused to comment on speculation linking him to the striker, who has nine goals in all competitions this season including against United in the 3-1 defeat at Old Trafford on Wednesday.

Ings would not command a transfer fee, though Burnley would be due compensation. The deal on the table from Sociedad is understood to be worth £60,000 a week, with a 40 per cent sell on fee payable to Burnley for any move he might make away from the Basque region.
