Connor Wickham: The Palace striker has scored 4 goals in his last 2 games; unfortunately his efforts have delivered just a single point. Palace are currently on an alarming skid which has seen them plummet to 14th in the table and Pardew’s men could really do with Wickham finding the sort of consistency he was unable to produce at Sunderland by getting back on the score-sheet this weekend, as they aim to hit the 40 point mark and consolidate their Premier League survival.

Remember when…
With the 2014 Premier League title hanging in the balance, Liverpool visited Selhurst Park level on points with Manchester City at the top of the table. With 11 minutes remaining the visitors were 3-0 up and moving three points clear, however a goal from Damien Delaney before a Dwight Gayle brace inside 9 minutes all but ended Liverpool’s title hopes and left Steven Gerrard consoling a tearful Luis Suarez at full-time.
Player to watch…
Adam Lallana: The Liverpool playmaker has been in great form of late, scoring three goals in his last five Premier League appearances. Lallana produced a man of the match performance last time out against City and will be looking to maintain a great record against Palace which has seen him score twice in his last three against the Eagles. Liverpool will feel they need to win this weekend to maintain their slim hopes of achieving a top-4 finish and Lallana could be the key to victory at Selhurst Park.
