Since the turn of the New Year the Gunners have recorded victories over Manchester United and Leeds United.
But in the wake of being knocked out the FA Cup by Derby, Crystal Palace will be looking to bounce back when Arsenal visit Selhurst Park.
Palace have stalled slightly in recent weeks with the squad suffering badly from injuries, particularly in midfield.
However, the Eagles still currently sit above Arsenal in the table, albeit with only one point separating the two sides.

Team news
Crystal Palace: Palace currently have 11 players side-lined due to injury, with Andros Townsend, Max Meyer and Jeffrey Schlupp among the current list of absentees.
Christian Benteke, who has not featured for the Eagles since Christmas, with his last appearance being at Palaces 1-0 defeat at Newcastle United on Saturday, December 21, is a contender to return to the pitch.
The 29-year-old is racing to be fit enough for this weekend’s clash against Arsenal, and if strong enough to play will provide a welcome boost for Palace.
Wilfried Zaha and Victor Camarasa are both in doubt for the game against Arsenal due to injury and Luka Milivojevic will miss the game against the Gunners due to suspension, after being sent off against Derby after a VAR review.
Arsenal: Calum Chambers will be out of action for a period of between six to nine months after rupturing the anterior cruciate ligament of his left knee during the Gunners 2-1 defeat at home to Chelsea.
Also missing from the pitch will be Kieran Tierney, who is unlikely to return until March 2020 at the earliest after dislocating his shoulder in Arsenals clash against West Ham.

Prediction
Arsenal will be looking to build on the two victories they have picked up in the last seven days by coming out on top this weekend.
Palace's team is currently decimated by injuries, however, the side will still produce the hard to beat football that Roy Hodgson has perfected with his side.
Arsenal will win, but it will be tight.
