Despite scoring in Chelsea's last two Premier League matches, Fernando Torres will have to settle for a place on the bench against Manchester United at Stamford Bridge today, with Samuel Eto'o starting as Jose Mourinho's lone striker.

Nemanja Matic, meanwhile, the midfielder who re-joined the Blues for £21m from Benfica earlier this week, is on the substitutes bench.

Chelsea: Cech; Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Azpilicueta; Ramires, David Luiz; Willian, Oscar, Hazard; Eto’o.

Man United: De Gea; Rafael, Evans, Vidic, Evra; Valencia, Carrick, Jones, Young; Januzaj, Welbeck.
