Maurizio Sarri made 10 changes for Thursday night’s Europa League win over PAOK, with the Belgian playmaker absent from the matchday squad.
The Italian also is set to restore Cesar Azpilicueta, Antonio Rudiger, David Luiz, Marcos Alonso and N’Golo Kante to the starting line-up for Fulham’s visit.
Sarri may have a choice to make between Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud up front, depending on how France striker Giroud is after his two goals and apparent ankle knock against PAOK.
Provisional squad: Kepa, Caballero, Rudiger, Alonso, Fabregas, Jorginho, Kante, Barkley, Hazard, Pedro, Kovacic, Giroud, Zappacosta, Willian, Cahill, Christensen, Azpilicueta, Morata, Luiz, Emerson Palmieri, Loftus-Cheek, Hudson-Odoi, Ampadu, Bulka.
