Can things get any more dire for Chelsea this season?

Unfortunately for fans of the Blues they can, and it could come in the form of defeat to Liverpool.

The reigning champions' dreadful season drags on, with a loss to West Ham in their last outing in the Premier League and then an exit from the Capital One Cup after missing out on penalties against Stoke.

With just one win in October, Jose Mourinho will be desperate to at least end it in victory, and according to some reports will have to if he wants to remain in a job.
