Chelsea are likely to be without new loan signing Alexandre Pato yet again for the visit of Manchester United this weekend.

The 26-year-old former AC Milan ace joined at Stamford Bridge from Corinthians last month but is yet to make his debut as he returns from injury. Pato scored nine goals in 30 appearances for the Brazilian outfit before returning to form on loan with Sao Paulo.

Frenchman Loic Remy remains a doubt after picking up a groin problem ahead of the FA Cup fourth round clash with MK Dons while Radamel Falcao is suffering from a muscle injury.

The Colombian was recently omitted from the Blues’ Champions League knock-out stages squad, further fuelling speculation about his future at Stamford Bridge.

New signing Matt Miazga, snapped up from Major League Soccer outfit New York Red Bulls, is not expected to have rediscovered enough match fitness for the clash against Louis van Gaal’s men either.

Chelsea are 13th in the Premier League table, eight points above the relegation zone, following the 0-0 draw with Watford on Wednesday night.

Meanwhile, the Blues have reportedly rejected a stunning £57.5m bid for Brazilian midfielder Oscar from China Super League club Jiangsu Suning.

The Far East outfit are expected to return for the Blues ace in the summer and are also said to be keen on signing Manchester City’s Ivory Coast international Yaya Toure.
