Cesc Fabregas has revealed his best XI made up from his former teammates with Xavi a controversial omission.

The Monaco star considered players from his time with Arsenal, Barcelona, Chelsea and Spain.

Choosing a 4-2-4 formation, Fabregas opted for attack-minded talent throughout his side.

“I didn’t know they were going to ask me this so I did it very quickly,” Fabregas wrote on Instagram. “What are your thoughts??”

The Spanish midfielder admitted there were three big omissions from his side though.

Ashley Cole, Puyol and Villa were my really big misses in this team,” Fabregas said. “I wish I could put more than 11.”

John Terry commented, “looks good to me mate.” Diego Costa also approved, writing, “I like this team.”

While Michy Batshuayi could not help noticing he was excluded, joking, “Where am I?”

Former Chelsea teammate Filipe Luis also posed the question as to why Fabregas wasn’t in the team, insisting: “You should be in this team.”
