Your support helps us to tell the story
From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference.Tom Heaton’s reintroduction into the Burnley side looked to have been the change to propel Burnley away from the bottom three. But three defeats in a row now sees Sean Dyche’s side one place above the relegation zone, with just two points between themselves and Cardiff.
The Clarets are once again conceding goals and losing games despite a shock win against Spurs three weeks ago. With just eight games left Burnley need all the points at home they can get.
They face a Leicester side who will be looking to build some momentum following their first win under Brendan Rodgers.
Jamie Vardy is once again a key part of the system, and it paid dividends as he bagged a brace to sink strugglers Fulham.
The other goal scorer was Youri Tielemans, who has hit the ground running since joining on loan in January. His passing and ability to carry the ball in midfield is perfect for a Rodgers team, and he will be crucial in the Foxes' bid for a top half finish.
When does it start?
Burnley vs Leicester starts at 15:00 on Saturday 16 March.
Where can I watch it?
The game will not be televised, but you can follow the action via IndySport’s live blog.
Player to watch:
As mentioned, new boy Youri Tielemans is adapting well to Premier League football. His passing and ball carrying has been perfect for Leicester, but a trip to Turf Moor will provide a new test. Can he produce the same level of quality against a more physical side?
