Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon is "very annoyed" by reports linking him with a move to Manchester City, according to his agent.

Reports in England claim City are ready to offer 35million euros to land Buffon after this summer's World Cup.

"Gigi (Buffon) is very annoyed because those rumours have no foundation," said Buffon's agent Silvano Martina to Corriere dello Sport.

City have been big spenders in the transfer market over the past couple of years, taking prominent international players like Robinho, Carlos Tevez, Patrick Vieira and Roque Santa Cruz to Eastlands.

The 32-year-old Buffon, who is out injured and will only return later this month, is under contract with Juve until June 2013.
