Your support makes all the difference.AFC Bournemouth host Championship bound West Bromwich Albion on Saturday, with Alan Pardew’s side rooted to the foot of the Premier League table.
For Eddie Howe’s side, fears of relegation have considerably diminished, after a seven-match unbeaten run that assisted in their rise to 12th on 31 Premier League points. They are winless in four, though the Cherries look as if they will be remaining in the division for 2018/19.
For Bournemouth, Joshua King and Ryan Fraser are both doubtful with neck and back issues respectively, while Daniel Sturridge remains sidelined for West Brom with a hamstring injury.
In the reverse fixture earlier this year, West Brom won 1-0, and Pardew will be hoping for some similar fortune when these sides meet on Saturday.
What time does it start?
Bournemouth vs West Bromwich Albion kicks off at 15:00pm on Saturday 17 March.
Where can I watch it?
The match will not be shown on TV. Highlights will be shown at 22:30 on BBC1 on Saturday night.
It’s a big game for…
Alan Pardew. Despite West Brom’s plight to the second tier of English football seeming somewhat inevitable, Saturday’s game is very much the last chance saloon for Alan Pardew. Mathematically, safety is still possible, though defeat to Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth would essentially confirm their relegation to the Championship.
Weird /best stat…
A seventh successive defeat for West Bromwich Albion would equal their longest losing streak in the Premier League (set between February and April 2003).
Player to watch…
Lewis Cook. Following his call up to Gareth Southgate’s England squad, Cook will likely be on cloud nine and his recent strong form can be expected to continue. Cook has excelled in midfield for Howe’s side, and his creativity and defensive resilience will be important to break down West Brom on Saturday.
